가. 초등학교 교육 목표
초등학교의 교육은 학생의 학습과 일상생활에 필요한 기초 능력 배양과 기본 생활 습관을 형성하는 데 중점올 둔다.
(1) 풍부한 학습 경험을 통해 몸과 마음이 건강하고 균형 있게 자랄 수 있도록 하며, 다양한 일의 세계에 대한 기초적인 이해플 한다.
(2) 학습과 생활에서 문제를 인식하고 해결하는 기초 능력을 기르고, 이를 새롭게 경험 할 수 있는 상상력올 키운다.

(1) 심신의 건강하고 조화로운 발달을 추구하며, 다양한 분야의 경험과 지식을 익혀 적극적으로 진로룹 탐색한다.

3. 목표
‘국어’ 교과는 한국인의 삶이 배어 있는 국어를 정확하고 효과적으로 사용하는 놓력과 태도를 기 르고, 국어를 창의적으로 사용하여 국어 발전과 국어 문화 창달에 이바지하려 는 뜻을 세우며, 올바른 국어 생활올 통해 건실한 인격을 형성하여 건전한 국민 정서와 미래 지향적 공동체 의식을 함양하는 과목이다.
‘국어’ 교과에서 학습자는 국어 활통에 대한 지식을 바탕으로 담화 또는 글의 내용을 정확하고 비판적으로 이해하고, 사상과 정서를 효과적이고 창의적으로 표현하는 능력을 기른다. 또한 국어 현상을 탐구하여 국어를 깊이 있게 이해하고 국어 의식올 높인다. 그리고 문학에 대한 기본적인 지식을 바탕으로 문학 작품을 수용하거나 생산하면서 인간

1. Desirable Human Character
Korean education, based on the philosophies of humanitarianism, aims to have all citizens to improve their characters and to acquire the ability to live independent lives and the necessary traits of a democratic citizen so that they can lead good lives and contribute to the progress of democracy and the ideal of the coexistence of mankind.
Based on these educational philosophies, the education curriculum desires the following characters:

A. Educational Goals for Elementary School
Elementary education shall be focused on growing basic abilities for a student’s education and everyday life and forming basic life habits.
(1) Elementary education helps students develop balance between sound bodies and sound minds through diverse educational experiences, as well as to get basic understanding of different occupations.
(2) Elementary education seeks to help students grow basic skills in identifying and solving problems in school and in everyday life, and foster creativity that enable them to see them in a new light.
(3) Elementary education helps students understand Korean culture and grow appropriate attitudes for enjoying culture.
(4) Elementary education seeks to help students express their experiences and thoughts in diverse ways, as well as to sympathize and cooperate with others.
B. Educational Goals for Middle School
Middle school education, based on the results of elementary school education, shall be focused on fostering basic abilities for a student’s education and everyday life, as well as the abilities to accept and be tolerant of pluralistic values as a democratic citizen.
(1) Middle school education seeks harmony between the mind and the body of the students, and helps students actively explore different careers after acquiring various experiences and knowledge.
(2) Middle school education helps students learn how to think creatively by teaching basic skills for school and everyday life and problem-solving skills.
(3) Middle school education helps students expand their understanding of different cultures and values based on their encounters with the world around them.
(4) Middle school education aims to have students grow many communication skills and equip themselves with the qualifications and attitudes as democratic citizens.
3. Goals
The subject of ‘Korean Language’ aims to grow the skills and attitudes to accurately and effectively use the Korean language, which reflects the lives of Koreans, contribute to the development of the Korean language and the Korean language culture by using the language creatively, and develop a sound national emotion and future-forwarding community consciousness through forming healthy personalities based on the correct usage of the Korean language.
In learning the subject of ‘Korean language,’ a student accurately and critically understands the content based on the knowledge of Korean language and grow the skills to effectively and creatively express thoughts and emotions. Also, a student explores the phenomenons of the Korean language and acquire an in-depth understanding of the language, thereby improving one’s sense of Korean. Through the educational experiences of the subject of ‘Korean language’ a student shall be in control of the language and possess creative thinking skills and proper personality. The subject of ‘Korean language’ is focused on acquiring basic knowledge of basic skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), Korean language (grammar), and literature in order to develop critical and creative language skills, as well as on developing active attitudes in using Korean language in everyday life.
The goal of the subject of ‘Korean language’ is as follows.
It seeks to foster comprehensive understanding of Korean activities, Korean language, and literature.
