○ Grouper(바리과 어류 통칭)는 국제적 고부가가치 어종(USD 20~50/kg), 식용, 관상용으로 국제시장규모 약 10조원
○ 국제 멸종보호종 CITES협약에 의해 자연산체포 금지로 양식수요의 급증이 예상 됨
○ 양식생산확대를 위한 인공종묘생산 기술은 매우 제한된 수준이며, 대만이 기술선진국이나 단위사업장으로서는 유일하게 본 협동조합이 대만의 수준을 능가하고 있음
○ 미얀마 정부(축수산부 차관)는 본 협동조합에 양식 기술 지원과 양식 산업 발전을 위한 사업 협약을 적극적으로 요청하고 있는 상황 임
○ 한국의 인공종묘생산 기술력과 양식 적지인 미얀마와의 공동사업은 시너지를 극대화하는 기회가 됨

○ Grouper (refers to all species in Serranidae) is an international high value breed (USD 20~50/kg), and the international market for human consumption, ornamental purposes is approximately 10 trillion won
○ Expected to have drastic increase in aquaculture demands due to restriction of wild groupers according to the international endangered species CITES agreement
○ The artificial seed production technology for farming production expansion is very limited, and although Taiwan is a technologically advanced country, our cooperative is the only business unit to surpass the level of Taiwan
○ The Myanmar government (Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Affairs) is currently requesting our cooperative to support farming technology and business partnership for the development of farming industry very actively
○ The joint project that puts Korea’s artificial seed production technology and Myanmar’s perfect fish farming areas is an opportunity to maximize synergy
○ By establishing a foundation for aquaculture industry through the ODA project and having private companies participate, there is a need to promote a business that targets the global market
