(1) Have you received an email from Chun-soo Kim, ILP, on March 2013 in which he said BDO Daejoo as a company cannot satisfy BDO obligations and the vote for “Go to BDO or Not” was necessary?
(2) Have you objected to the “Go to BDO or Not” vote on April 2013? If yes, have you expressed your opinion in a document?
(3) On April 8th, 2013, did you assemble 50 directors of our company and even hired a professional interpreter to give a presentation and persuade them to vote for “Go to BDO”?
(4) From the item (2) above, we understood that you did not object to the dualization of the company. Did we misinterpret your message?
(5) In the first vote, more than 70 % voted for “Go to BDO”. On the vote deadline (April 30th, 2013), you had sent an email detailing the problems regarding age and retirement, which prompted requests for another vote. As a result, percentage of “Go to BDO” vote significantly decreased. What was the reason behind for highlighting such a sensitive issue at that time? Did you act upon Martin’s request?
(6) Do you acknowledge the dualization and splitting of the company? If not, why did you strongly push for independent management of NBDO, appointment of multiple CEO’s, and dualization of quality control? And what is the meaning of the email on July 25th, 2014, in which you wrote that you accept the splitting?

(8) Are you aware of visit to the U.K. by Michael Oak, who claims to be an ILP? You claimed that Sang-nam Lee is the managing partner of BDO Daejoo and Mr. Oak is the ILP, but do you think it is possible for the ILP to travel to the U.K. without the managing partner’s knowledge?
2. About NBDO
(1) NBDO has undergone significant changes in the past year and a half. Do you regard the current status as satisfactory of BDO Int’l requirements?
(5) Currently NBDO is not under the direction of CEO of BDO Daejoo. After resolution by the employee general assembly, ILP appointed by Sang-nam Lee, who is the CEO, was arbitrarily replaced by NBDO. Head of the international business division and the new ILP do not attend the management committee of the company. Do you have any suggestion other than splitting to quickly end such confusion? What would you do in my situation?
3. About BDO Int’l CEO’s letter in which the payment was mentioned
(1) At the end of Martin’s letter, he had said that he hopes for our changes and will monitor our activity. What does he mean by monitoring in detail, and what would he be monitoring? Was his mention just a formality, or does he imply that our action may change the outcome?
(3) In Martin’s letter, he wrote “many matters that have been brought to your attention by the CEO Asia Pacific”. After the establishment of NBDO, have there been any agenda other than splitting in your emails and meetings with Martin? |
