그동안 노후화된 장비도 교체하고, 장애인이나 노약자도 편리하게 이용할 수 있는 시설도 갖추고, 무려 2년 6개월이라는 공사기간을 거친 대구 시민회관!

그랜드콘서트홀(대공연장) :대구시민회관 그랜드콘서트홀은 국제적 수준의 전문 콘서트홀로 재탄생했습니다. 최적의 소리를 찾아내는 변형 슈박스 형태인데요. 관객과 연주자 간의 거리를 좁혀 생동감을 전달할 수 있도록 조성되었답니다.
챔버홀(소공연장):대구시민회관 챔버홀은 총 248석의 소공연장입니다. 빛이 쏟아지는 형상을 표현해 공간의 경쾌함과 온화한 분위기를 느낄 수 있어요.
연주자와 관객이 소통하고 공감할 수 있도록 음향과 시야 측면에서 최적의 시설로 조성되었답니다. 새로운 모습으로 우리 곁에 다시 돌아온 대구 시민회관!

When Daegu Citizens’ Hall was opened on October 5, 1975, it was the only general purpose performance hall in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area!
On November 29, 2013!
Renovated Daegu Citizens’ Hall was open to the public!!
During the last 2 and a half years, aged equipment was replaced and amenities were constructed for the disabled and elderly!

Grand Concert Hall(Large performance hall) :Grand Concert Hall at Daegu Citizens’ Hall is born again as a world class concert hall. It is in the revised shoe box shape to produce the optimum sound effects. It is structured to reduce the distance between the audience and the performers so that the audience can enjoy the performance more vividly.
Chamber Hall(Small performance hall): Chamber Hall at Daegu Citizens’ Hall is a small performance hall with 248 seats. The hall represents the image of pouring light and you can feel the light and warm atmosphere of the space.
It has optimum sound and visual facilities so that the performers and the audience can communicate and empathize with each other. Daegu Citizens’ Hall has come back to us with a new look!

Daegu is a city of culture and arts. Which is the street of culture and arts that represents Daegu? It is Bongsan Cultural Street with 20 year history. Bonsan Cultural Street is full of the scent of arts. Along the 600 meter long street from Daegu Hakwon to Bongsan Junction, art supply stores, galleries, cafes, and restaurants are lined up.
There are many art supply stores, an essential shopping course for artists. There are 15 galleries here and exhibitions are held throughout the year. When you are around Bongsang Cultural Street, be sure to visit some of the galleries. There is no entrance fee. Anybody can come and enjoy the artworks on display. You can also see artworks on the street also.
Bongsan Culture Center that features performances and exhibitions each month is another attraction of Bongsan Cultural Street !!
And there are many pretty cafes along the street~ You can feel the scent of culture and arts at Bongsan Cultural Street.
