The section shape of the green space within complexes that are generally being formed causes continuous extrusion of soil due to the high level compared to that of surrounding roads.
The section shape also inhibits penetration of rainwater in to the soil making it difficult for water to be supplied to plant life.
The depressed-type green space which has been proposed in the above background induces the penetration of rainwater in to the ground and increases the water content of the soil which can improve the growth of plant life. Also it can prevent urban flooding by delaying the flow out of rainwater and achieve management effects for nonpoint source pollution providing a filtering effect for early rainwater.
This study is an analysis on the flow out characteristics based on the section composition made by using an experimental area of artificial green space.
Though a simulation on the section area of a typical apartment complex using the measurements made on the penetration amount and surface flow out amount in depressed-type green space and general-type green space, the author intends to predict the reduction effects on the total flow out amount of rainwater. |
