실험 결과, sole의 높이가 증가할수록 COP(center of pressure)의 medio-lateral movement가 증가하는 것으로 측정 되었다. Table. 2를 보면, 높은 sole에서의 COP movement가 가장 컸고 낮은 sole의 신발에서는 가장 낮았다. COP의 시간에 따른 medio-lateral movement의 Standard deviation 또한 sole의 높이가 높을수록 증가하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. Table. 3에는 각 muscle activation에 각 근육이 낼 수 있는 maximum force을 곱한 값을 평균 낸 값을 기술했다. 실험 결과 역시 sole의 높이가 높아 질수록 lower extremity와 발에 위치한 근육이 많은 힘을 내야 함을 알 수 있다. gait에 있어서 COP shifts는 high-heel에 대한 연구 논문에도 논의되었었다. 하이힐의 굽 높이가 높을 때가 낮을 때보다 COP의 medio-lateral movement가 크다는 결과가 나온 연구가 있었다(Gefen et al., 2002). 하이힐을 신게 되면 굽이 낮은 신발을 신었을 때보다 좌우 COG(Center of gravity) movement이 심해 균형을 잡기 어렵다는 연구결과였다. The test result shows that mediolateral movement of COP (center of pressure) increased as the sole height increased. As shown in Table 2, COP movement was the highest in high sole shoes and the lowest in low sole shoes. The standard deviation of the mediolateral movement of COP also increased with elapsed of time as the sole height increased. Table 3 describes the average of the values obtained from multiplying each amount of muscle activation with the maximum force generatable by each muscle. The test result also confirms that the muscles of lower extremity and feet have to generate much force as the sole height increases. In terms of gait, COP shifts have been also discussed in a research paper on high-heels. One study (Gefen et al., 2002) has shown that the mediolateral movement of COP is greater when the heels of shoes are high than low. According to this study, wearing high heels hinders the ability to control left-right COG (Center of Gravity) movement that it is more difficult to maintain balance than wearing low heel shoes. Cosmetic sole, a type of toe-standing gait, is also very similar to high heels in the sense that it is walking with heels raised. |
