사료효율 및 사료요구량에서 각 투여군에서 대조군에 비하여 통계학적인 유의성이 산발적으로 관찰되었지만, 경향은 일시적이었으며 용량의존적인 반응은 관찰되지 않았다.

음수섭취량에 있어서는 수컷의 경우 전 기간 동안 각 투여군에서 통계학적인 유의성은 관찰되지 않았다. 암컷의 경우 2주째 1/4× 투여군(22.34±2.259g)과 1/2× 투여군 (22.57±2.488g)에서 대조군(28.22±4.652g)에 비하여 유의한 감소가 관찰되었고, 7주째 용출원액 투여군(43.74±12.441g)에서 대조군(31.34±2.454g)에 비하여 유의한 증가가 관찰되었다.

No significant weight increase was observed in the male rats of the treated group compared to the control group during the test period. In terms of food intake, a significant increase was observed in the low dose treated males (21.20±0.870g) and the extraction solvent treated males ((21.57±0.539g) compared to the control group (19.71±1.166g) during Week 1. During Week 6, a significant increase was observed in the extraction solvent treated males (27.36±0.528g) compared to the control group (24.60±1.029g). As for the female rats, a significant increase was observed in the lose dose treated group (18.17±1.198g) and the extraction solvent treated group (18.86±1.581g) compared to the control group (15.26±2.019g) during Week 6 and a significant increase was observed in the extraction solvent treated group (18.63±1.044g) compared to the control group (15.58±1.856g) during Week 9. Also, a significant increase was also observed during Week 13 in the medium dose treated group (16.33±1.161g) and the extraction solvent treated group (18.13±1.363g) compared to the control group (13.84±1.544g).

Statistical significance was observed sporadically in feed efficiency and feed conversion of each treated group in comparison to the control group but such a trend was very temporary with no observation of   dose dependent reaction.

In terms of water intake, male rats of each treated group showed no statistical significance during the entire test period. On the other side, a significant decrease was observed in the female rats of low dose treated group (22.34±2.259g) and medium dose treated group (22.57±2.488g) during Week 2 in comparison to the control group (28.22±4.652g), and a significant increase was observed in the extraction solvent treated group (43.74±12.441g) compared to the control group (31.34±2.454g) during Week 7.
