형형색색 아름다운 꽃과 울창한 숲이 우거진 수목원에 한국전통 정원이 조성되었답니다.
이번에 조성된 전통 정원은 산림청 수목원 특성화 사업으로, 2013년과 2014년 총 2단계로 나눠 진행되는데요. 드디어 1단계 공사가 완료되어 관람객들에게 공개되었답니다.
평소 코스모스와 억새 군락지가 있던 작은 공간에 전통정자와 전통담장, 연못이 아름답게 꾸며졌어요. 대구수목원의 전통 정원은 모든 것을 자연과 연관지어 설계되었답니다.
정원 내부에 자리한 수목정에서는 정자 앞 연못과 전통 담장 위로 솟은 푸른 소나무를 바라보며 옛 선비의 여유로움을 느껴볼 수 있답니다. 또 이곳을 감싸고 있는 전통담장은 보물 제350호로 지정되어 있는 달성군 구지면의 도동서원 담장을 모방해 더욱 아늑한 공간으로 만들어주고 있어요. 자연과 어우러진 한국 전통 정원~ 대구 수목원의 아름다움과 함께 조용한 사색의 공간을 만나보세요.

본격적인 개관식이 진행되기 전, 전통퓨전타악밴드 노킹의 축하공연으로 행사를 뜨겁게 달군 다음~ 국립대구과학관의 정식 개관을 알리는 행사가 본격적으로 시작되었어요.

영남권 물류 중심지 사문진 나루터, 60년만에 부활하다!
조선시대 영남권 물류 중심지였던 사문진 나루터.
부산에서 낙동강을 거슬러 대구로 올라오는 주요 뱃길로 이용된 이곳은 당시 보부상들을 위한 여관, 주막 등이 성행했던 곳입니다. 하지만 1993년 사문진교가 개통하며 이곳은 역사 속으로 사라지게 되었습니다. 다시는 볼 수 없을것만 같았던 사문진 나루터.
기나긴 역사를 간직한 대구 달성군 사문진 나루터가 긴 역사의 공백을 깨고 60년만에 새롭게 문을 열었습니다. 이곳엔 현재 초가 3채로 구성된 주막촌에서 부추전, 두부, 국밥 등을 팔며 옛 주막촌의 정취를 고스란히 살려놓고 있답니다. 파란 하늘과~ 사문진 나루터의 모습.. 정말 아름답죠? 옛 주막촌의 모습을 그대로 담아낸 사문진 나루터. 귀신통이라 불리던 피아노도 만나볼 수 있네요. 이곳에 들렀다면~ 국밥과 파전~ 막걸리 한 잔 기울이며 옛날 분위기도 한 번 내보고 가세요. 이곳의 하이라이트! 화원유원지~ 화원동산에 올라.. 아름다운 대구의 절경도 감상해보세요. 드넓은 낙동강과 아름다운 대구의 자연~ 달성습지가 한 눈에 들어옵니다.

옻골마을_조선 중기 최동집이 1616년 이곳에 정착한 뒤, 400년 가까이 이어져 오고 있는 전통 한옥 마을이에요. 조선시대 양반들의 건축과 생활상을 보여주는 역사 자료이자 문화 유산이기도 하죠. 사계절~ 아름다운 전통의 미를 뽐내는 옻골마을. 겨울의 풍경은 또 다른 멋을 자아내고 있는데요. 고즈넉한 돌담길.. 조용한 옛 시골 풍경이 떠오르지 않나요? 이곳엔 현재 20여채에 40여명의 주민들이 살고 있어요. 이곳은 경주 최씨 종택입니다.
조선 인조 때의 학자 대암 최동집이 1616년 옻골에 정착하면서 그 이후에 지은 집으로, 대구에 있는 조선시대 주택 중 가장 오래된 곳이에요. 살림채와 재실, 사당 등 많은 건물들이 조화를 이루고 있는 이곳은 조선시대 양반주택과 그 생활양식을 연구하는데 귀중한 자료가 되고 있답니다. 전형적인 배산임수 지형을 간직하고 있는 옻골마을은 런닝맨의 촬영지로도 쓰였을만큼 최근 관광객들을 위한 체험마을로도 각광받고 있답니다.

Used as a major boat route for going up to Daegu from Busan on the Nakdong River, this place bustled with inns and taverns for peddlers in the past.
But when Samunjin Bridge opened in 1993, this place disappeared into history.
Samunjin dock, which we all thought to have been lost forever.
Samunjin dock of Dalseong-gun Daegu, which possesses a long history, newly opened its doors in 60 years after breaking a long gap in history.
Here, at the tavern village consisted of three straw-roofed houses, they sell buchujeon and rice soup, reviving the old traces of the village.
