14.Deliberate introduction of malicious programs into bioMérieux IS infrastructure is prohibited (e.g., viruses, worms, Trojans, e-mail bombs, etc.).
15.Using bioMérieux computers to actively engage in procuring or transmitting material that is in violation of local country laws in the user’s local jurisdiction is prohibited.
16.Security breaches or disruptions of network communication are prohibited. Security breaches include, but are not limited to, accessing of data, which the employee is not an intended recipient, or logging into a server or account that the employee is not expressly authorized to access, unless these requirements are within the scope of regular duties.
17.If an employee needs to use an on-line storage web site to transfer large files to bioMerieux business partners, please contact the Global Information Systems Service Desk to obtain a list of approved web sites, software and/or vendors.
18.The use of bioMérieux Internet access and email services for illegal, unethical, or for any purpose violating bioMerieux policies or the global Employee Code of Conduct is strictly prohibited.
19.Employees are required to use extreme caution when opening e-mail attachments received from unknown senders, which may contain viruses and/or other illicit software.
20.Employees are strictly prohibited from providing confidential information relating to bioMérieux employees, as well as bioMérieux partners and customers to any third party outside of bioMérieux (“bioMérieux information”). Any such bioMérieux information may include personal, sensitive data, including but not limited to personal data (such as but not limited to human resources data or health data), which shall be treated with extreme care and confidentiality, in accordance with applicable local data privacy regulations and related corporate guidelines and policies. If you are required or contemplate to disclose bioMérieux information for compelling business reasons, prior formal approval of the employee’s management and the execution of a confidential disclosure agreement that has been approved by the Legal team are required.
21.Use of IS systems to receive, review, store or transmit any form of harassment via e-mail, telephone or paging, whether through language, frequency, or size of messages is prohibited.
22.Employees are prohibited from posting any bioMerieux confidential information on Internet social networking blogs or web sites.
23.All transfers of bMx confidential info to third parties be encrypted via email or any other form must be encrypted unless Global Information Systems and the Legal team have approved an alternate method of protection or agreed to a waiver for good reasons known..
