정치망 번역(한국어 원본)정치망은 수심이 50m이내의 비교적 얕은 연안역에 고정되어 있는 그물로, 법적으로는 일정한 구역에 대한 전용 사용 허가를 취득하여 그물을 그 구역 안에 설치해야한다. 그리고 허가된 구역에 대해서는 배타적 독점적 권리를 가지므로 면허어업이라고 한다. 전국 연안에 허가된 건수는 약 600여건이고, 어획량은 6만여톤에 달하는 중요한 연안어업이다. 정치망은 어법상 어군의 자연적인 통로를 길그물로 차단하여 어군을 운동장 또는 헛통으로 유도한 후 비탈그물을 통해 원통으로 들어가도록 하여 어획하는 소극적 어법의 어구이다.
정치망의 주 어획대상 어종은 삼치, 갈치, 방어, 오징어, 병어, 멸치 등 연안으로 내유하는 대부분의 어류와 일부 정착성 어종까지 다양하며, 어구 안으로 들어온 어류만 어획하므로 다른 적극적 어구보다 자원을 남획할 우려가 적다. 어획물은 대부분이 활어와 선어의 형태로 이용되고, 멸치 등은 가공 건조 처리하여 판매되므로 자원의 이용 측면에서는 효율적인 어업 중의 하나이다. 그러나 어구를 특정한 위치에 고정하여두고 내유하는 어군만을 어획할 수 있으므로 어구를 부설한 위치가 어군이 잘 내유하는 곳인가 하는 즉, 정치망의 부설 적지인지 여부가 어업의 성패를 결정하는 중요한 요소이다.
우리나라의 연안에 설치된 정치망은 구조상 낙망이 가장 대표적인데, 낙망은 길그물에 의해 헛통 그물 속으로 유도된 어군이 오르막길로 되어있는 비탈 그물을 따라 올라가서 원통 그물 속으로 들어갈 때 마치 낙하하는 것처럼 보인다고해서 붙여진 명칭이며, 원통 그물의 수와 위치에 따라 편낙망, 양낙망, 이단식 낙망 등으로 나누어진다. 그림 1에는 정치망의 대표적인 구조를 나타내었다.
정치망은 어장의 수심을 기준으로 설계하며, 정치망의 수평적인 구조는 사개로프에 의해서 만들어진다. 사개로프에는 뜸이 부착되어 수면상에 위치하고, 이 사개로프에 멍줄을 달고 멍줄 끝에 멍(중량물) 또는 앵카를 써서 해저에 고정한다. 이렇게 사개로프가 고정되면 여기에 그물을 달아줌으로서 정치망이 완성된다.
정치망은 조류가 적당히 흐르는 해역에 부설되며, 어구의 수직적인 전개를 좋게하기 위해서 그물의 밑부분에는 상당한 양의 침자를 달아주어 어느 정도의 조류에서도 그물형상이 유지되도록 한다. |
정치망 번역(영어 번역본)The pound net is a net fixed in the relative shallow coastal zone that is about 50m deep. Legally speaking, one must obtain approval for using the pound net in a certain zone before using in the zone. As one can have an exclusive and monopolistic right to the permitted zone, it is also called chartered fishery. About 600 permissions were given along the coastal zones of the country, and the catch exceeds 60,000 tons. It is important coastal fishery. As far as fishing methods are concerned, the pound net blocks the natural passage of the fish school with the leading net, and leads the fish school to the fish court or bowl, and then into the circular cylinder through the inclined passage before catching the fish. It is fishing gear that catches fish passively.
The pound net is mainly used to catch most of the fishes visiting the coast, such as Japanese Spanish mackerel, squids, yellow tails, cuttlefish, silver pomfrets, and anchovies, and some sedentary fish species. As it catches only those fishes in the fishing gear, it is less likely to overfish than other active fishing gear. Most of the catch is used as live fish or fresh fish, and anchovies are processed and dried for sale. So from the viewpoint of resource use, it is one of the most efficient fishing methods. As the fishing gear is fixed in a certain place and catches only the fish school coming near it, however, an important factor to the success of the fishing is whether the location of the fishing gear is often visited by the fish school, that is, whether the location is appropriate for the installation of the pound net.
Pound nets installed along the cost of Korea are typically trap set nets from the structural viewpoint, and the trap set net is named such because the fish school, induced into the bowl net by the leading net, climbs along the inclined passage leading net, and looks as if it drops when it goes into the circular cylinder net. Depending on the number and location of the circular cylinder nets, the trap set net is divided into the set net with one bag, the set net with two bags, and the two-tiered trap set net. Figure 1 illustrates a typical structure of the pound net.
The pound net is designed according to the depth of the fishing ground, and the horizontal structure of the pound net is made by the dovetail rope. The dovetail rope has rush matting, and is located on the surface of the water. A meong (weight) line is attached to this dovetail rope, and fasten a weight or anchor to the end of the weight line and fix it at the bottom of the sea. Once the dovetail rope is fixed, attach the net to it to complete the pound net.
The pound net is installed in waters with a moderate level of tidal movement, and to improve the vertical deployment of the fishing gear, an appropriate amount of sinkers are attached to the bottom of the net to ensure that the net maintains its shape even if there is a certain level of tidal movement. |
