Materials and Methods: 1999년 11월부터2008년 2월까지 본원에서 척추 후방 유합술을 시행하고 2주간 혈액검사를 시행한 608명의 환자에 대해 단분절 유합술군, 이분절 유합술군, 3분절 이상 유합술 혹은 재수술 군(다분절 유합술군), 수술 후 감염군으로 나누어 수술 전, 수술 후 2-3일 째, 수술 후 4-7일 째, 수술 후 8-11일 째, 수술 후 12-14일 째 백혈구, 중성구, C-반응성 단백질(CRP), 적혈구 침강속도(ESR)에 대해 후향적으로 비교하였다. |

The objective of this study is to identify the normal range and the predictive factors for post-operative infection by conducting a time series analysis of the hematological parameters of patients after the spinal posterior fusion and comparing them with patients who had post-operative infection. Summary of Background Data. After the spinal posterior fusion, the time series analysis of the inflammation-related hematological parameters was conducted, and the results varied depending on patients so much that it is not well known how much increase of which parameter warrants suspicion of post-operative infection. Materials and Methods: From November 1999 to February 2008, the 608 patients who underwent spinal posterior fusion, and had the blood test conducted for two weeks were divided into the short-segmental fusion group, the bi-segmental fusion group, the 3-segmental plus fusion or reoperation group (multi-segmental fusion group), and the post-operative infection group. The leucocyte, neutrophil, C-reactive protein(CRP), and erythrocyte sedimentation velocity (ESR) before the operation, 2-3 days after the operation, 4-7 days after the operation, 8-11 days after the operation, and 12-14 days after the operation were compared retrospectively. |
