컨벤션 번역(한국어 원본)HIMSS 전차대회참가 대구컨벤션뷰로는 지난 2월 23일부터 28일까지 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에서 HIMSS AsiaPac’09에 참가하여 2010년 대구에서 개최될 HIMSS Asia’10 대회의 참가자 증대와 ‘메디시티’ 대구홍보를 위해 홍보부스를 운영하였다. 2010년 10월 대구에서 개최되는 HIMSS AsiaPac 2010 대회는 ‘국제의료정보관리시스템학회’ 아태대회로써 의료관광 포럼, 대구시의료관광체험, 아·태 의료정보관리 심포지엄, 전시회 등으로 진행되며 의사, 간호사 등 보건의학분야 전문가와 전산전문가, 정부관계자, 의료정보시스템 소프트웨어업체 등 1,500여명이 참석할 것으로 예상된다. 대구컨벤션뷰로는 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르 컨벤션센터에서 열린 HIMSS AsiaPac’10 전차대회에 참가하여 대구시 의료관광 홍보물과 대구시 관광 홍보물을 배포하며 차기대회 홍보활동의 임무를 수행하였다. MPI 한국지부 설립 및 한국지부 설립 총회소식 컨벤션 산업의 대표적 국제기구인 MPI(Meeting Professionals International) 한국지부 창립총회가 3월 12일 W서울워커힐호텔에서 열렸다. KCA의 김유석 사무국장의 사회로 진행된 창립총회에는 MPI 한국지부 회원과 MIP 가입희망자 80여명이 참석하였다. 회원수 2만 4천 여명으로 세계적으로 두 번째 규모의 MPI는 미팅 플래너를 위한 대표적인 컨벤션 산업 관련 국제기구로 북미지역 컨벤션 산업 관련 조직 위원회인 CIC(Convention Industry Council)산하로 활동하면서 CMP 자격시험의 에이전트 기능도 수행하고 있다. CMP 서울시와 서울 관광마케팅(주)는 컨벤션 서비스 수준의 국제인지도 제고, CMP(Certified Meeting Professional) 자격취득 지원, MPI 교육 프로그램 도입을 통한 글로벌 인재양성 및 장기적 교육 체계 확립을 위해 지난 11월 아시아 최초로 MPI 한국지부를 설립하였다. 한편 2009년 MPI 한국지부는 2009 WEC(World Education Congress) 참석 및 MPI Education Contents를 활용한 ‘컨벤션 전문가 아카데미’를 진행이며 CMP 시험 및 스터디를 지원할 계획이다. |

The event is expected to have about 1,500 participants consisted of experts in the field of health and medicine such as physicians and nurses, health data specialists, government personnels, and medical information system software companies. Daegu Convention & Visitors Bureau participated in HIMSS AsiaPac’09, held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and performed the task of public relations activities by distributing brochures on Daegu Medical Tourism and Daegu Tourism. Establishment of MPI Korea Chapter and Korea Chapter General Assembly News MPI (Meeting Professional International), a representative international organization in the convention industry, Korea Chapter General Assembly was held at W Seoul Walker Hill Hotel on March 12. General Assembly officiated by Yu-Seok Kim, Executive Office Chief of Korea Convention Association (KCA), was attended by the members of MPI Korea Chapter and other 80 people who want the MIP membership. MPI, being the second largest in the world with about 24,000 members, is a representative convention industry related international organization for meeting planners. It’s under the influence of CIC (Convention Industry Council) of North America while acting as the agent for CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) qualification test. The city of Seoul and Seoul Tourism & Marketing established MPI Korea Chapter, the first in Asia, in last November in order to improve international recognition to the level of convention services, to support acquisition of CMP credential, to raise global talents through the introduction of MPI education program and to establish periodic education system. Moreover, MPI Korea Chapter will participate in 2009 WEC (World Education Congress). It operates ‘Convention Specialist Academy’ by utilizing the MIP Education Contents and plans to support CMP test and study. |
