태극 아즈렌에스연고의 주성분 구 아야줄렌은 식물(Guaiacum)에서 추출한 생약제로 열상(화상), 습진, 그 외의 질환에 따른 미란(짓무름) 및 궤양에 탁월한 효능을 나타내는 약제입니다.
특히, 화상을 입었을 때 신속히 염증을 없애주고, 새살을 돋게하여 흉터가 잘 생기지 않게 하는 특징이 있습니다. 또한, 자외선 홍반(불은 반점)에 뛰어난 효과가 있어 햇볕에 의한 화상에도 좋습니다.
구아야줄렌의 임상시험 결과 열상(화상) 89.7%, 습진 60.6%, 피부염 80.2%, 미란(짓무름)성 피부질환 87.5% 궤양성피부질환 86.5%의 치료 효과를 나타냈습니다.
그 밖에도 항염증작용, Histamine 유리억제작용, 창상(상처)치유촉진작용, 항 Allergy작용이 있습니다.

Guaiazulene, the active ingredient of the Taiguk Azulene S Ointment, is an herbal medicine extracted from a plant (Guaiacum). It is very effective in treating the erosion and ulcer due to burn, eczema and other diseases.
In particular, it will remove inflammation quickly and restore your flesh when you get burned, thereby preventing scars. Also, as it is very efficacious in treating ultraviolet erythema (red inflammation), it is good for sunburn as well.
