주식회사 파나시아가 정부의 중소기업 핵심지원사업인 ‘월드클래스 300 프로젝트’ 지원대상 기업으로 선정되었다.
‘월드클래스 300 프로젝트’는 2017년까지 세계적인 전문기업 300개를 육성하기 위해 제품, 기술, 공정 혁신을 지속하면서도 특정 고객에 의존하지 않는 거래관계의 독립성을 바탕으로 빠르게 성장하고 있는 중소·중견기업을 선정해 집중 지원하는 사업이다. 지난 2011년 30개사, 2012년 37개사, 2013년 33개사 등 지난 3년간 100개 기업을 선정 한데 이어 올해 56개 기업을 추가 선정함으로써 총 156개 월드클래스 기업이 배출됐다.
파나시아는 20개 지원기관 협의체를 통해 연구개발과 해외진출, 인력, 금융, 경영 등 26개 맞춤형 패키지 등을 지원받는다. 특히 연구개발(R&D) 자금을 5년간 최대 75억원과 글로벌 마케팅 로드맵 수립과 해외 마케팅 지원 사업도 제공 받게 된다.
이에 파나시아 대표이사 이수태는 “그 동안 월드 클래스 300에 선정되기 위해 내부적으로 준비를 많이 해왔으며, 특히 지역업체로서 꾸준하게 연구 개발에 힘 써 선박평형수 처리장치를 독자적으로 개발할 수 있었던 것이 이번 선정에 주요하게 작용한 것 같다” 며, 앞으로 파나시아는 “월드클래스 기업으로 선정된 만큼 정부의 적극적인 지원에 힘입어 글로벌 강소기업 (히든챔피언) 으로 성장할 수 있도록 노력하겠다” 고 밝혔다.
본사 이전을 위한 미음산업단지 내 신축 공사 진행 중
㈜파나시아는 대지면적 28,000㎡, 건축연면적 34,000㎡ 규모의 부산 강서구 미음 국가 산업단지 내 본사 이전을 위한 신축 공사를 진행 중이다.
본 공사가 완료되면 녹산산업단지에 위치한 제1공장(본사) ,김해 한림면에 위치한 제2공장, 그리고 지사과학단지 내 연구소를 통합 관리 할 수 있으며, 최첨단 설비도입, 외주가공의 공정들을 내재화 하여 효율적인 품질 관리가 가능하게 된다. 또한 향후 선박평형수 처리장치의 현존선 시장도래와 탈질ㆍ탈황 설비의 장착이 의무화 될 시점의 제품 수요를 대비할 수 있다.
특히 본 공장은 친환경적으로 설계되어 자연채광, LED 조명 사용과 건물지붕에 설치되는 880kW 규모의 친환경 태양광 발전설비로 태양열을 이용한 온수와 난방시스템을 가동함으로써 연간 28,441그루의 소나무를 새로 심는 것 과 같은 이산화탄소 절감 효과가 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
파나시아는 본사이전이 완료되는 2014년 9월에 맞추어 완제품 및 제품의 전 생산공정을 고객이 직접 확인 할 수 있도록 공장견학 서비스를 제공할 예정이다. |

Panasia Co., Ltd. has been designated as a company for the World-class 300 Project support, the government’s key support project for small and medium businesses.
The World-class 300 Project is a project by the government which designates and intensively supports small and medium businesses with intentions to grow and potential in order to develop 300 worldwide specialized companies until 2017. A total of 156 world-class companies have been produced; 100 companies have been designated for the last three years including 30 companies in 2011, 37 companies in 2012, and 33 companies in 2013, and 56 companies were additionally designated in this year. Of those, 2 domestic shipbuilding companies including Panasia were first selected, creating an opportunity to grow into a world-class shipbuilding company.
Panasia was able to satisfy all of the categories assessed by the professional starting with innovation and sustainability, and including independence of revenue, globalization, and employment effect. Especially, by investing 13% of revenue continually since 1999, we have reached the point of securing proprietary technology and recorded steady growth of 35% per year, making it our biggest factor for being recognized for our growth potential and being selected as a world-class hidden champion of the future.
Through a consultative group consisting of 20 supporting organizations, Panasia will be supported with 26 customized packages for R&D, overseas expansion, human resources, finance, and management. Especially, Panasia will receive up to 75 hundred million won of R&D fund, global marketing roadmap establishment and foreign marketing supporting business for the next five years.
In line with this, Panasia CEO Lee Su-tae said, “not only have we developed Ballast Water Treatment System dehydration and desulfurization, but we have developed the proprietary PaNOx™, PaSOx™ and are riding a wave of steady revenue. The securing of such a new growth engine by Panasia was because of the extensive investment that has been poured into R&D” and added “just as Panasia has grown thus far into a world class company we will continue to make efforts to grow into a global hidden champion due to proactive support by the government.”
New Construction in Mi-eum Industrial Complex for Relocation of Head Office
Panasia Co., Ltd. has been implementing new construction for relocation of the head office into the Mi-eum National Industrial Complex in Gangseo-gu, Busan, with the scale of 28,000㎡ of lot area and 34,000㎡ of total ground area.
After this construction is completed, an integral management of the first factory (head office) in the Noksan Industrial Complex, the second factory in Hanrim-myun, Gimhae, and the research center in the Jisa Science Park would be available and an effective quality control would be possible through introducing advanced equipment and building collective manufacture processing. Moreover, the arrival of the market for Ballast Water Treatment System for existing ship and the expansion for the ownership of products at the time when the installation of the equipment for removal of SOx and NOx can be prepared.
Especially, with environmental-friendly design, this factory has natural lighting, LED lighting, hot water and heating system using solar power sourced by 880 kW of eco-friendly photovoltaic power generation installed on the roof, and it is expected to have CO2 reduction effect corresponding to plantation of 28,441 pine trees per year.
Also, the building has been designed with sensitive consideration that has a pleasant eco-friendly work environment achieving harmony with the beautiful surroundings, not only are the style of traditional Korean modern architecture one of its strengths, but the R&D functions and advanced production facilities, and welfare facilities inspire the internal stockholders, the employees, with the will to work and naturally put culture and technology in the place of conversational pieces when receiving visitors. |
