Because we completed a design that covers Retail(Point of sale), Healthcare(Home nursing, Point of care, Clinical-test), Semi Tough (Warehousing, Transportation & Logistics), and Tough(Field sales, service) environments with a single base, we shortened the development timeline, reduced manufacturing costs, satisfied customer needs for each market, and achieved design innovation. Also, each version in the BM180 Series has a unique design character with satisfying performance. We conducted multiple drop tests to find the vulnerable parts, and came up with a rugged bumper case that covers the four corners. The bumper case of other products wraps the entire device. However, because the Semi-tough and Tough versions only put a rugged case on the weak parts, the width that determines the grip feeling is equally applied, optimizing usability when grabbing with one hand. The BM180 Series is an efficient and reasonable business partner with harmonious appearance and the most appropriate design, functionalities, and usability for each work environment.
