3. 과업의 목적
가. 본 과업은 새로 이전되는 주한미국대사관의 원활한 건축물 설계와 건설을 위하여 사전에 수행하게 되는 모든 주변인허가의 완료를 추진하고자 함.
나. 본 과업은 지구단위계획, 교통성검토, 사전환경성검토, 사전재해영향성검토의 완료와 이러한 인허가의 추진을 위한 건물의 기본설계를 포함함.
다. 본 과업의 건축물은, 대사관동(1동), 대사관 부속 숙소동(6개동), 복합커뮤니티시설동(1개동), 부속지원시설동(회의장등 1개동) 으로 구성됨.
라. 본 과업중 대사관동은 건축주가 제공한 건축계획을 기본으로 하여 기본설계를 진행하며, 기타 나머지 동들은 용역사가 모두 계획하여 기본설계를 진행함. |

A. Problems of reduction in work efficiency and adverse effect on the city’s landscape have arisen as results of the changes in work expectations and the deterioration of embassy facilities at the U. S. Embassy in Seoul, Korea.
B. There is an increasing necessity for modernized work and other facilities attributable to the increasing close relationship and work ties with the Korean government.
C. Camp Coiner, the previously targeted area, is the army facility transfer region, and thus various pre-assessments and the execution of district planning in accordance with the related laws are necessary beforehand.
D. Accordingly, prior to designing and constructing for the development of U. S. Embassy building and its facilities in Seoul, Korea, the pre-approval procedure and the establishment of basic plan are being required.
3. Project Purpose
A. This project aims for the complete acquisition of all the necessary approvals prior to the design and construction of the new U. S. Embassy building in Seoul, Korea.
B. This project includes the completion of district planning, trafficability review, prior environmental review, and prior disaster impact assessment, and the basic designs of buildings for the acquisition of such approvals.
C. The buildings of this project will be consisted of the main embassy complex (1 building), embassy quarters (6 buildings), community facilities complex (1 building) and support facilities complex (1 building for meeting halls).
D. From this project, the basic design of the main embassy complex must be based on the building plan provided by the building owner, and the basic design of the other remaining complexes are entrusted to the service provider. |
