Ilchun plenary Lecture
‘일천분자의학상’은 고(故) 일천 이기녕(Lee Ki-Young) 교수의 학문적 업적과 학회 발전의 공헌을 기념하기 위하여 제정한 상으로서 최근 5년간 분자의학 분야에서 창의적이고 탁월한 연구업적을 보인 국내외 연구자를 초청, 상패와 상금 1천 만원(또는 미화 10,000 달러)을 수여하며, 학술기간 중에 기념강연회를 개최하는 것을 원칙으로 하고 있습니다.
수상자 선정업무는 일천위원회를 별도로 구성하여 후보자의 이력서, 연구업적목록, 추천서, 지난 5년간 수행한 대표 업적 1편 및 기타 업적을 제출받아 심의하며,
상금과 시상 경비 등을 포함한 사업비는 일천기금의 과실금 및 서울대학교 일천유전체의학연구소의 당해 연도 출연금으로 운영합니다.

Moosa Plenary Lecture
1996년9월에 제정한 한국생화학분자생물학회의 무사강연 운영위원회를 계승하며, 고(故) 무사 이근배교수의 학문적 업적과 학회 발전의 공헌을 기념하기 위하여 연례국제학술대회에서 시행하는 ‘무사강연’을 조직하고 후원함으로써 우리나라의 생화학 및 그 응용에 관한 학술 발전에 기여함을 목적으로 합니다.
수상자 선정업무는 무사위원회를 별도로 구성하여 국제적 명성이 있는 연사 1명을 선정하며해마다 국내 연사와 국외 연사를 번갈아 선정하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.

학회장 초청 강연
원로 학자들의 학문적 업적을 기리기 위하여 연례국제학술대회에서 특별 강연을 시행하여 우리 나라의 생화학분자생물학의 학술 발전에 기여함을 목적으로 합니다.
연사는 정년퇴임을 하였거나 또는 정년퇴임을 앞둔 원로 학자를 회장이 선정하고 이사회의 인준을 받는 것을 원칙으로 하며, 순금 10돈 메달을 수여합니다.

Donghun Award Lecture
동헌 고(故) 박기억 선생의 뜻에 따라 생화학 및 그 응용분야에서 창의적 연구업적을 쌓아 학문발전에 공헌한 정회원에게 시상하여 회원의 사기를 고취시키고 한국 생명과학의 발전에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 1997년 10월에 제정하였습니다.
수상자 선정업무는 동헌위원회를 별도로 구성하여 생화학 및 그 응용분야에서 창의적 연구업적을 쌓아 학문발전에 공헌만 정회원을 수상자로 선정합니다.
상금과 시상 경비등을 포함한 사업비는 동헌 기금의 과실금 및 (주)디아이그룹의 동일시마즈 (주) 당해 연도 출연금으로 운영합니다.

Ilchun plenary Lecture
“Ilchun Molecular Medicine Award” was founded to commemorate late Professor Ki-Young Lee’s work and his contribution to science. Invitation is made to scientists in Korea and from abroad, who demonstrated distinguishing research works in last 5 years in the field of molecular medicine. A medal and USD $10000 are also presented along with the award. The invitees are to give lectures during the event.
The winners are elected by evaluating the candidates’ resume, their research works, and letters of recommendation, their major work in last 5 years and other contribution to the field. The election process is performed by the “Ilchun Committee”.
The prize money and other expenses are funded from Ilchun fund and also from the Ilchun Genome Medicine Research Center’s yearly fund.

Moosa Plenary Lecture
This event was inherited from the Moosa Lecture Committee for Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology that was founded in Sep 1996. Its mission is to commemorate late Professor Keun Bae Lee’s contribution to science by sponsoring and organizing the “Moosa Lecture” during the “Annual International Academic Conference”, and to contribute to Korea’s scientific progress in biochemistry and its application.
The Moosa committee is organized to elect 1 internationally renowned lecturer. The Korean and foreign lectures are selected in alternate sequence.

The Chairman’s Lecture
In order to commemorate the elder academics’ contribution to science, a special lecture is held during the “Annual International Academic Conference” to contribute to Korea’s progress in Biochemical Molecular Biology.
The chairman elects (and acquires an approval from the committee for the candidate) an elder academic for the lecture who had already retired or who is due for retirement. The lecturer is presented with a medal of 37.5g of solid gold.

Donghun Award Lecture
Donghun Award was founded in Oct 1997 in the honor of late Ki-Eok Park. It is given to the members who contributed to the progress in the field of biochemistry and its application through creative research works. Its mission is to empower those members and to contribute to Korea’s progress in life science.
The winners are elected by the Donghun Committee from those members who produced distinguishing and creative research works in biochemistry that had contributed to the progress of Korean science. The prize money and other expenses are funded from DI Group’s DongIl Shimadzu’s yearly budget.
