Based on the successful hosting of JCI Conference 2001, 2003 Summer Universiade, 2004 UCLG ASPAC, 2005 APEC Business Forum, 2010 World Firefighters Games, and IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011 Congress, we hosted and operated international conferences and conventions in various areas.
To successfully attract international conferences, the EXCO Convention Team is cooperating with hosts to provide support with the effort to attract conventions, and serving as Professional Convention Organizers (PCO), performing such functions as meeting planning, budget management, operation and organization of meetings. 4. Renting subsidiary facilities
We are enhancing user convenience by renting subsidiary/convenience facilities like offices and food & beverage facilities in EXCO and EXCO Mall. Information on facilities Exhibition Hall With the expansion of the exhibition hall completed in 2011, EXCO has world-class exhibition facilities: the indoor exhibition halls are about 23,000sqm and the outdoor exhibition area is about 4,000sqm.
A total of 5 indoor exhibition halls can be flexibly divided into 9 halls at most, and as exhibition halls #1, 2 and 3 on the first floor cover a single space of 15,000sqm, we can host exhibitions of various sizes at the same time as well as international exhibitions. EXCO has hosted exhibitions of various sizes in diverse areas, such as International Green Energy Expo, International Textile Fair, Fire & Safety Expo, International Automatic Machinery Industry EXPO and Art Fair. The Convention Hall on the 5th floor is a multi-purpose hall of 3,872sqm. International conferences, performances and cultural events can be held in the Convention Hall. The Auditorium is a high-class theater-like space with 1,300 seats. Various types of events, such as conventions, conferences and events/performances can be held in the Auditorium. As exhibition halls and conference rooms, which can be divided into up to 19 conference rooms, are located on the third floor of EXCO, large-scale conventions, various session meetings of academic conferences, poster sessions, and subsidiary exhibitions can be held on one floor on a one-stop basis.
