It is 8 o’clock at night in front of Masan train station. The precast pavers in front of the crossing are shining bright. Pedestrians stand safely behind those blocks and cross the road when the green light comes on. The LED block contains luminous diode in each of the protruding spots that gleams with electrical current. 00:52
Each block is around 2 hundred thousand won, so it’s actually quite expensive. But once installed, it can be used for hundred thousand hours, which is about 27 years and 1 set only consumes about one thousand eight hundred won per month. 01:06
It’s made from polycarbonate. It can withstand up to 8 tons of weight. 01:12
Let alone water proof in normal atmosphere, it’s already undergone water proof test at water depth of 2 meters. So it’s totally safe from electric leakage or discharge. 01:23
